5km Dog Fun Run or Fun Walk
In support of Our Special Friends we are hosting a 5km off road woodland Fun Run or Fun Walk for dogs and humans of all kinds!
We know how much people love dogs, because we love dogs too. So we thought it was time that our furry friends had a day to look forward to!
Join us this summer for a fantastic day out for everyone. In a fun and relaxed atmosphere on the Elveden Estate, we want all of your dogs to come along to Explore Paw x Paw where we can celebrate them in all their scruffy, fluffy glory.

WHEN IS THIS?
Sunday 1st July 2018. Registration from 10AM. Set off from 11AM. Latest set off 1PM.
WHERE IS THIS?
On the beautiful Elveden Estate. You will venture through off road terrain and woodland – which means lots of exciting smells for our doggy pals
WHY IS THIS?
Because we want to support the team at ‘Our Special Friends’ charity. Working tirelessly in Suffolk and Norfolk, they take away the worry of pet care when life takes an unexpected turn, providing a range of support services to help those in need to continue to enjoy contact with animals during illness, bereavement and other crises. Also, this is a unique opportunity for an adventure with your dog and other dog minded people!
HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?
Human and one Dog - £15 • Additional Dogs - £5 each • Humans without a dog - £10
Family Ticket (4 human and 2 dogs) - £40

Tickets include human sweets and dog treats for all entries. Other benefits include optional obstacles throughout the course, a huge array of woodland smells, an abundance of trees and shrubs for sending P-mails and, weather dependent, there could be mud!
I DON’T HAVE A DOG. BUT I LOVE DOGS. HELP!
Don’t panic. You are still invited! Just buy one of our Human tickets. Maybe you are a keen runner, maybe you want to run off road or maybe you just fancy coming along to a barking mad event to hang out with all the dogs. Dogs or no dogs you are all welcome!
GENERAL INFORMATION
The course is 5km, the ground is uneven and off road, therefore we let you (or your dogs!) decide the pace you want to go. Whether you’re a seasoned 5km runner looking to beat your personal best or if you would prefer to take your time and walk the course with your furry friends – it’s completely up to you! Don’t forget to wear sturdy footwear, whether that’s trainers or wellies.
Free Parking will be available on site.
Tea and Coffee will be available at Registration and a BBQ will be available in The Walled Garden.
The Elveden Courtyard Restaurant and shops as well as the Elveden Inn will be open for you and your friends and family to visit, booking advised if you are after a hearty lunch after finishing.
Please note that dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs – our aim is to leave nothing behind but pawprints! Bins will be provided.
Above all else, we want you to have a tail wagging, ear flapping, jolly good time!
